Well, there really is no way to sum up a wedding day like this with 15 or 20 pictures. Get ready for a long one! Chris and Lucinda met a little over a year ago, then engaged in March of this year, and married on the 7th of June 2014. I knew Chris from when I was living in the bay area last year and was honored that he and Lucinda wanted me to shoot their big day.
Early that morning, Chris' grandma (and her entourage) arrived on a private jet in Oakland. (She doesn't really have an entourage, just children, but it sounded cool to say ENTOURAGE). So, we decided to snap a couple manly airplane portraits of Chris before they landed.
There was even a red carpet! ;)
Next stop, the Oakland LDS Temple!
RAWR! You work it Lucinda!
It's hard NOT to smile all day when you are this much in love...
After a lovely lunch at Amber India Restaurant, we drove into San Francisco and walked around civic center a bit. Unfortunately someone else's wedding had all of city hall reserved but we had a lovely time taking some pictures around the outside.
I told Chris to whisper "sweet nothings" in Lucinda's ear...she liked it. :)
Chinatown came next. Chris speaks mandarin and Lucinda's brother in law is Chinese. So to Chinatown we went!
The Golden Gate Bridge was feeling a little shy that day and decided to stay shrouded in fog regardless of what the rest of the city's weather was like, but we were ok with that. The fog added a little mystery and romance!
Then we went down to Fitzgerald Marine Preserve where Chris and Lucinda's friends and family wished them well as the sun went down over the ocean.
A perfect day, and a VERY happy couple. Congratulations you two!
